Ok, new at art or not, it's time to take the plunge.
I've been sketching and playing with watercolors and acrylics for a few weeks now.
I think it's time to attempt a real painting.
I bring this up because just today i realized that I'm hiding behind my practicing!
For me, practicing is easy. If I make a mistake, who cares? It's just practice work and we expect errors in this.
After all, no errors means you're not trying something new right?
But creating a final art piece means you created the best you could at that time.
Also, any mistakes you see should be corrected, and that means extra work.
I also feel legitimate thoughtful criticism from others should be accepted and pondered upon.
So what's my point here?
Simply put; "It's time to step into the deep end.
Create something with no excuses.
Paint with purpose and discipline.
Take care folks and lets be kind to one another.
